Ricky Dean Hindman, 65, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at his home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19 in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Paul Pearson officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 8:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in Murphy Creek Cemetery.
Ricky was born May 30, 1965, to Tommy and Geraldine Carr Hindman in Winston County, Mississippi. He was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. Ricky was a journeyman millwright with Fluor Daniel Construction Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, hunting, and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed helping friends and family whenever needed.
Ricky is survived by his sister Lynn White and husband Bill of Louisville, and his brother Terry Hindman and wife Teresa of Sturgis, Mississippi. He is also survived by his nephew Will White and nieces Leigh Ann Morgan and Dena Kelly as well as his great-nieces Victoria Westmoreland, Brook Morgan, and Britney Morgan and his great-nephews Zack Westmoreland, Trysten Kelly, Ben Mitchell, and D. J. Morgan. He also leaves behind a host of other loved family members. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Grace White.
Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Barrett, Wesley Conn, Chris Henry, Scott Henry, Drew Prisock, Jacob Prisock, Jordan Prisock, and Zack Westmoreland. Memorials in honor of Ricky may be given to Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5420 Bond Road, Louisville, MS 39339.
