“Snapper” was born May 15, 1941, in Winston County, MS, to Curtis Alewine Gregory and David Hugh Gregory. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was a graduate of French Camp Academy, and he retired from Georgia Pacific where he was a shipping supervisor. Mr. Gregory served as a Justice Court Judge for 8 years in District 2, and East Post Constable for 4 years. “Snapper” proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. He also spent some time working for Elvis Presley in Memphis, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Joyce Eubanks, Louise Gregory, and Fay Harville; one brother, John Gregory, and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Eubanks and Jay Harville.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Quinn Gregory of Louisville; his son, David Scott Gregory of Louisville; his granddaughter, Anna Faith Gregory of Louisville; his grandson, David Jace Perry Gregory of Louisville; one sister, Eleanor Gregory Fordyce of Byhalia, MS; one sister-in-law, Nancy Quinn of Louisville; and brother-in-law, Billy Quinn 0f Louisville.
Pallbearers will be Paul McKinney, Greg Davis, Chris Quinn, Tim Hunt, Chuck Quinn, Jacob Ingram, and Rusty Hanna.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Sta-Home Hospice, or the Harmony Baptist Cemetery Fund.
