Mr. Jack Alton Richardson, 74, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, July 25 from 5-8 p.m. at John E Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, July 26, 2015 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Steve Craft, Rev. Ronnie Malone officiating. Dr. Wayne Hill will officiate at the graveside. Interment will be in North Bend United Pentecostal Cemetery.
Mr. Richardson lived in Louisville all of his life. He worked 35 years with Georgia Pacific and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was Baptist by faith.
Mr.Richardson was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Madison Richardson and Willie Ford Richardson; 1st wife, Frances Richardson; daughter, Infant Joy Richardson; sister, Sally McWilliams; brothers, Rudolph and Joe Richardson.
Survivors are his wife of 27 years, Roxie Richardson of Preston; daughters, Dale Willis of Louisville, Lisa Bourrage (Kenny) of Dekalb and Gloria Branning (Keith) of Philadelphia; son, Johnny E. Richardson (Melinda) of Louisville; sisters, June Hurst of Hattiesburg and Brenda Gant of Purvis; (7) grandchildren, Crystal Richardson, Leslie Johnson, Anna Richardson, Candy Warren, Jessica McMillian, Kendra Rushing & Robert Johns; (14) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.
