Mary Alice Mills, 89, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, September 22, 2014, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Dowd and Rev. Leslie “Bo” Mills officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Mills was born on October 2, 1924, to Aubrey Pugh Richardson and Gurr Richardson. She was a member of Center Ridge United Methodist Church; and she was a seamstress and housewife.
Mrs. Mills is survived by her sons, Wade Mills; and Ernie Mills and wife, Jeanette; all of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. J. Mills; her parents; her brothers, Johnny Richardson and Daw Richardson; and her sisters, Ruby Jones and Lawrence Keene.
