Mr. Troy Crocker, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, in the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 10 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Lundy and Rev. Hubert Yates officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Crocker was born on August 9, 1923, to Jim and Molly Chancellor Crocker. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and he was a retired farmer. He answered the call to serve his country by serving in the United States Army during World War II.
Mr. Crocker is survived by his wife, Janice Crocker, of Louisville; his daughter, Martha King; and his granddaughter, Faith Richard and husband, Jeff, all of Little Rock, Arkansas. Troy has three grandchildren: Andrew, Elizabeth, and Paul Richard. He is preceded in death by his parents.
