Mr. Perry Wayne Robertson, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 18, 2013, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville on Saturday, October 19, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Vernon Assembly of God Church with Rev. Eugene Duran and Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Assembly of God Church Cemetery.
Mr. Robertson was born on August 2, 1945, to Herman and Frances McKinley Robertson. He was a member of Vernon Assembly of God Church and he was a retired construction worker and business owner.
Perry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kay DePriest Robertson, of Louisville; his daughters, Autumn Robertson Gregory and Chasite McDaniel and husband, Shane, all ofLouisville. He is also survived by a sister, Patty Kemp (Cecil) and his brother, Billy Don Robertson all of Franklin, Tennessee. Mr. Robertson has five grandchildren: Chanley, Caden, and Carlee McDaniel and Anna Faith and Jace Perry Gregory, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jimmy Robertson; and his niece, Janice Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Robertson, Rusty Kemp, Luke Thompson, Mike Robertson, Corey Drury, and Justus Hurd. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Edward Stokes, Lamar Parkes, Orborne Lovern, Tony Thompson, Jessie Hughes, Carl Noel Stokes, Judge Mayo, Gene Foster and Randy Sullivan.
