Cinnamon Howard, age 52, passed away peacefully while at home on January 5, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Louisville, MS, to Winfred O. Pugh and the late Peggy A. Pugh. Cinnamon joined the United States Air Force at age 19 as a computer maintenance technician. After 6 years, she pursued her dream of becoming an attorney where she attended the University of Mississippi School of Law. She obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree, passed her exam, and was appointed as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) in the United States Air Force. She served as a JAG officer for 14 years and honorably retired as Major Howard in 2013 at age 43. She enjoyed her retirement traveling around the world visiting family and friends and relaxing at home spending time with her fur babies.
Cinnamon is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Pugh, and her 2 nephews Jonathan Pugh and Anthony Pugh. Cinnamon is survived by her father Winfred O. Pugh, and her brothers John Pugh (Karen) and Winfred Pugh, and her niece Christina Horn and grand-niece, Charleigh Horn.
