Minnie L. Robinson

Minnie L. Robinson, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2018, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at South Louisville Baptist Church with Rev. Trent Jaudon, Rev. David Keen, and Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the church from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Louisville.


Minnie was born September 30, 1938, to William and Ivah Beck Rainer. She was an active member of South Louisville Baptist Church where she taught the Ladies Sunday School class for the last 10 years. Minnie enjoyed traveling all over the United States with her husband; sewing; cooking; working in her flowers; but most of all, spending time with her family.

Minnie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William “Bill” Robinson; daughters Shirley Sanders and husband Mitch of Louisville; Judy Gainey and husband John of Ocala, Florida; Susan Daniel and husband Steve of Waynesville, North Carolina; Karen Adcock and husband Kevin of Louisville; and Tammy Rademacher and husband Erik of Madison, Mississippi. She is also survived by two sisters, Reida Howard and Jean Sparks (Pete) and her brother Bill Rainer. One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma Minnie or MaMaw” to her 10 grandchildren: Brian Sanders (Laura); Cliff Sanders (Lindsey); Lisa Swilley; Sherry Swilley; Jason Quinn; Jennifer Quinn; Eric Adcock; Kayla Richards (Josh); Madison Rademacher; and Bailey Rademacher; as well as her 10 great-grandchildren: Cade Sanders; Lydia Sanders; Cooper Lane Sanders; Macie; Hunter Sanders; Olivia Mariano; Colby Quinn; Reid Dunn; Presleigh Richards; and Jett Moudy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Virginia Butler; and two grandchildren Mark Swilley and Brittany Nicole Adcock.

Memorials contributions in honor of Minnie may be given to Winston-Choctaw Gideon Camp, P. O. Box 556, Louisville, MS 39339.
