Waudine Vera Roberts

Ms. Waudine Vera Roberts, 87, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater with Rev. Tom Bentley officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Hight Assembly of God Church Cemetery.

Waudine was born September 27, 1930, to Will and Minnie Ezell Parker. She was a long-time member of Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater.

Ms. Roberts is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Craft and husband, John, of Louisville; and Martha Locklear and husband, Robert, of North Carolina; and her son, Tony Kelly and wife, Elizabeth, also of Louisville. She enjoyed being a grandmother to her eight grandchildren: Debbie Moore and husband, Cliff; Scottie Moravec and wife, Melissa; Rhonda King and husband, Kevin; Brad Kwasniewski and wife, Nickie; Jamye Eells and husband, Eric; Jeremy Kelly; Nathan Kelly; and Caleb Kelly and wife, Bridget. She also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren to mourn her passing: Gracie Moore; Trent Moore; Rekker Richardson; Kimberly Sharp; Kathyrn White; Abigail Kelly and Thomas Eells. Waudine is also survived by two sisters, Dolly Jones and husband, Darrell, of Detroit, Michigan; and Elma Smith; and her brother; James Parker and wife, Betty. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Kelly and Clifton Roberts; two brothers, Clinton Parker and Clifton “Tippey” Parker; two sisters, Edna Parker and Nita Stafford; and two granddaughters, Christina Kelly and Kathy Horton.

Serving as pallbearers are Billy Kelly, Caleb Kelly, Nathan Kelly, Terry Kelley, Cliff Moore and Scottie Moravec.

Services are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by signing the guest register at
