Mrs. Bane was born on August 9, 1923 in Philadelphia, MS to Mary Elizabeth Fulton and James Monroe Young. She was a homemaker and also worked in retail management when she lived in Biloxi, MS. She was a Sunday school teacher and active member of Bay Vista Baptist Church in Biloxi, MS. She belonged to the Lions Club in Louisville, MS, and loved gardening. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Christian of Biloxi and Louisville, MS; her second husband, Lamar Bane of Louisville, MS; her son, James Christian of Biloxi, MS; her brothers, James Young of Tupelo, MS, Fulton Young of Greenwood, Ms, and Simon T. Young of Louisville, MS; her sister, Maureen Morgan of Louisville, MS. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Lemcke, son-in-law, James Lemcke and granddaughter, Michelle Lemcke of Houston, TX; her son, Joseph Christian, daughter-in-law, Linda Christian and granddaughter, Dana Christian of Louisville, MS; her grandson, Brant Christian and wife, Faith Christian and great grandson, Brayden Christian of Louisville, MS; her daughter-in-law, Lynda Christian and grandson, Jonathan Christian of Biloxi, MS; her sister, Mildred Young Calvert of Louisville, MS; her niece, Kim Calvert McMinn and husband, Jeff McMinn, her great nephew, Landon McMinn and great niece, Peyton McMinn of Louisville, MS; her nephew, David Calvert and wife, Jennifer Calvert and great nephew, Gavin Calvert of Louisville, MS; her sister-in-law, Billie Jean Young and nephew, Barry Young of Paris, TN, her nephew, Thomas Young of Florida; her nephew, Richard Young and wife, Alison Young of Texas; her nephew, Sidney Sloan and wife, Deanie Sloan of Holly Springs, MS; her nephew, Fulton Young, Jr. and wife, Patricia Young, Jr. of Germantown, TN; her niece, Jacqueline Rhodes of Memphis, TN; her niece, Jeanette Young McCormick and husband Henry McCormick of Brandon, MS; her niece, Judy Carver and husband, Jerry Carver of Carrollton, MS; her niece, Donna Young Means of Lucedale, MS and many, many other wonderful relatives and friends.
