Wayne Estes

Mr. Wayne Estes, 81, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2012, at Winston Medical Center. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rickey McKay officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Estes was born on January 10, 1931. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and he served in the United States Army. Mr. Estes was a retired equipment operator with the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sylvia Parkes Estes of Louisville, Mississippi; his daughter, Michelle Brown; and granddaughter, Kayla Estes both of Philadelphia, Mississippi. He is also survived by three sisters: Maxine McCool of Noxapater, Mississippi; Jean Woodruff of Louisville, Mississippi; and Elsie Carter and husband, J. C., also of Noxapater, Mississippi. Mr. Estes also has four brothers: Dee Estes and wife Patti, of Prentiss, Mississippi; Bobby Joe Estes and wife, Faith, of Noxapater, Mississippi; Jerry Estes and wife, Ilene, and M. O. Estes and wife, Jane, all of Louisville, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Littleton Worthy and Lottie Craig Estes; and his nephew, Craig Estes.
Pallbearers will be Joey Estes, Brett Estes, Graylon Spiers, Hal Estes, Darren Dickens, and Robert McCool. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Charner Estes, Kenny Boswell, Mike McCool, Marc McCool, Donnie Woodruff, Jeff Hill, Mike Geske, Billy Martin, Hulon Sisson, Mason Carraway, Lonnie Stringfellow, Jared Estes, Brandon Estes, Jason Hill, Brad Hill, Trey Woodruff, Dwight Moore, Jim Burt, Nicky Hensley, H. B. Maxey, Alvin Sanders, Douglas McAdory, and Phil Leone..
