Mr. Bobby Culwell, 88, passed away on March 27, 2012, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rob Faulk and Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment will be in Betheden Church Cemetery.
Mr. Culwell was born on October 9, 1923. He was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church and he served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Culwell was a retired mechanic and truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frankie Culwell of Louisville, Mississippi. Mr. Culwell has two daughters, Jo Helen Todd and husband, Bobby; and Dot Eaves and husband, Mike; as well as one son, Jerry Culwell and wife, Sandra, all of Louisville, Mississippi. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Lisa Strickland; Melissa Foster and husband, Rusty; Jeff Culwell and wife, Molly; Ryan Eaves and wife, Brooke; and Cassandra Brannon and husband, Chris. Mr. Culwell has 11 great-grandchildren: Blake Williamson, Missy Williamson, Brock Strickland, Tyler Foster, Makenna Foster, Branson Eaves, Anna Rose Eaves, Nick Culwell, Bobby Culwell, Shan Brannon, and Landi Rae Brannon. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Zula B. Spence Culwell and his brother, Wayne Culwell.
