Dean was born August 12, 1939, to Lee and Larvell White Stevenson in Louisville. She was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. After 20 years of serving customers in the Jewelry Department at the Louisville Wal-Mart, she retired due to health reasons. Dean enjoyed cooking for her family and shopping with her sisters. Dean is survived by her daughter Sherry Pearson, and her son-in-law Lee Pearson. One of her greatest joys was being “Dee” to her grandson Rylee Pearson and his fiancĂ© Skylar Adams all of Louisville. She is also survived by two sisters Frances Bagwell and Martha (Murray) Hall, in addition to her brother-in-law Ray Cockrell all of Louisville, and her sister-in-law Jean Nall of Clinton, Mississippi, as well as her loving nieces and nephews. Dean was preceded in death by her husband Harry Eaves, her infant daughter Angela Dean Eaves, her parents, and her sister-in-law Peggy Cockrell.

Serving as pallbearers are Lee Pearson, Scott Barnhill, Turner Barnhill, Lane Johnson, Kenny McCulloch, and Lance Vernon. Memorials in honor of Dean may be given to Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5420 Bond Road, Louisville, MS 39339.
