Mrs. Glennie Triplett Wade, 90, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 in Itasca, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 10:00 AM at Rocky Hill United Methodist Church, with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wade was a longtime resident of Itasca, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. “Sonny” Wade. She is survived by four children, Eleanor (Larry Anderson, James (Lynda) Wade, Sue (Don) Immekus, and Joseph Glenn (Martha) Wade; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is the sister-in-law of Peggy Heard of Louisville.

Ms. Louise B. Bolton, 88, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Louisville, Mississippi. Born on July 3, 1922, to George and Hershel Smith Brannon, she was a retired bookkeeper and attended Antioch Baptist Church.
Ms. Bolton is survived by her sister, Billie Peterson, and husband, Billy, of Louisville, Mississippi; one nephew, Rickey Peterson and wife, Dixie, of Phoenix, Alabama; and one niece, Vickie Peterson Corkren and husband, Jeff, of Raymond, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hershel Smith Brannon and her son, Oliver Gordon. Pallbearers will be Jeff Corkren and Landon Corkren. Billy Bowie officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Born on March 8, 1931, to Arie and Jessie Peaster, Mrs. Ward was co-owner of Ward Feed Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Gideon Auxiliary.
Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, Udell Ward of Louisville, Mississippi; two sons, Joe Ward and wife, Annette, also of Louisville, Mississippi, and Clay Ward and wife, Amy, of Tullahoma, Tennessee; one daughter, Carol Triggs and husband, David, of Huntsville, Alabama; one sister, Fannie Smith of Louisville, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Jesse Ward and Marianne Ward; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Sharp, a retired logger, was a member of Bethel Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Vickers Sharp of Sturgis, Mississippi; one daughter, Sonja Massey, and husband, Sid, of Noxapater, Mississippi; one son, Scott Sharp and wife, Kelly, of Sturgis, Mississippi; one sister, Janie Sharp Trulove, and husband, Dwight, of West Point, Mississippi; and six grandchildren: Drew Massey, Aubrey Massey Manning, Brooke Massey, Kevin Sharp, Rachel Sharp, and John Ethan Sharp. Lottie Chamblee Humphries

Lottie Chamblee Humphries, 85, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, June 16, from 9:00-11:00 at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, with the funeral following at 11:00, Rev. Larry Haggard presiding. Interment and graveside services will be at Louisville Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Humphries was born October 10, 1925 in Leake County, Mississippi, the daughter of Elbert and Byrd Caston Chamblee. She graduated from East Central Junior College and Mississippi State College for Women, and taught English for many years, retiring from Noxapater High School. She was a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church, and was active in community and club work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Marion, her husband Burnice Thomas (Billy) Humphries, and her son, Tom Chamblee Humphries. She is survived by her son, David Humphries and his wife Linda of Louisville, and her daughters, Charlotte Humphries of Hammond, Louisiana and Burnice (Bunny) Reihsmann and her husband Oscar of Vicksburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ivan Reihsmann of Portland, Oregon, Conrad Reihsmann of Vicksburg, and Evan and Eric Humphries of Louisville.

Pall bearers will be Ernest Fleming, James Humphries, Ronnie Mitchell, Jerry Smith, Scotty Smith and Kim Webb.

Memorials may be made to Camp Ground United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Kerr was born July 12, 1940, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Davis Kerr; and her parents, Marion Smith and A.Z. Wylie.

She is survived by a son, M.D. Kerr of McCool, MS; two daughters, Deborah Ann Kerr Anazon of Wichita Falls, TX, and Betty Louise Smith of Quanah, TX; two grandchildren, Kayla Hope Kerr and Joshua Blake Smith; and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jim Eaves, Cory Cain, Joshua Smith, William Young, Joe Cooper, and Hubert Smith.

Mr. Berry Jackson “Jack” Ivy, 72, died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at his residence in Louisville. Graveside services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 8th, at Liberty Universalist Cemetery, with Rev. Neil Chadwick officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Universalist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mr. Ivy was born February 6, 1939, in the U. S. Virgin Islands. He was a retired supervisor from Taylor Machine Works in Louisville, and Mason Chamberlain on the Gulf Coast. He was an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Ivy of Louisville, and Bob Ivy of Nashville, TN; and one brother, Mike Ivy of Kathleen, GA.

Ms. Dodd is survived by a special friend, Lois Barnhill of Louisville, Mississippi; two nieces: Jennifer Gutierrez and Elizabeth Venedicto; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Robert E. Dodd.
