Mrs. Sisson, 83, of Philadelphia, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

She was born in Winston County and made her home in the Mars Hill community most of her life. She retired from Wells Lamont Glove Factory after many years and had also worked as a cook at Vowell’s Marketplace for several years. Mrs. Sisson was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
