Mr. Jerry Ronald Wilson, 78, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. A Celebration of Life service will be 7 p.m. on Monday, July 13, at the First Apostolic Church Event Center on Highway 15 South in Louisville (formerly the Shriners Building) with Bro. Glynn Barker officiating. Interment will be at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14 in Louisville Memorial Cemetery.
Jerry was born on August 22, 1947, in Shenandoah, Virginia. He was a faithful member of First Apostolic Church of Louisville. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy Seabees, where he helped repair and rebuild military bases by operating heavy equipment. Following his military service, he worked in the construction industry. A skilled tradesman, Jerry worked in HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and other areas of construction. Currently, he was a faithful employee of Robert Prisock ProClean.
Jerry is survived by his church family at First Apostolic Church of Louisville and many cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Wilson.
As a veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange, he was grateful for his friends who took such good care of him in the Oncology Department of the Veterans Hospital and at Winston Medical Center.
