HADLEY TAYLOR
Hadley Taylor, age 5, passed away with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026, in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Corey Jackson officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 10 a.m. until service time at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Interment will immediately follow the service in Dry Creek Cemetery in Kemper County.
Hadley was a bright and joyful little girl whose sweet spirit touched everyone who knew her. She loved all things fun and colorful—playing with her Barbie and LOL dolls, experimenting with makeup, and singing her favorite songs. Some of her happiest times were spent at the beach, enjoying the park, and playing with her cousins. She especially enjoyed cozy time wrapped in her heated blanket and never missed a chance for a Target shopping trip. Hadley also dearly loved her pet donkey, Apple Pie, who held a special place in her heart.
Hadley is survived by her loving parents, Skylar and Troy Taylor of Preston, Mississippi; her brother, Banks Taylor; and her sister, Murphy Taylor. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Gina and Roy Taylor and Jaime Lewis; and great-grandmother, Kathy Luke. Hadley was dearly loved by her extended family, her aunts and uncles Trey and Shamra Taylor and Maranda and Neil Puskorius; as well as her cousins, Jadyn Collier, Jordyn Taylor, Judson Taylor, Virginia Puskorius, and Hazel Puskorius. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Virginia Brodie.
Serving as pallbearers are Trey Taylor, Will Chancellor, Jon Cherry, and Wade Fulton. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that memorials in honor of Hadley be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital online at stjude.org.
Though her life was far too short, Hadley’s laughter, love, and beautiful smile will forever remain in the hearts of all those who loved her.
Services are under the direction of Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by signing the guest register at www.masseyfuneralhome.net.
