He was born to Tilton Price Sullivan, Sr. and Marsie Richardson Sullivan at Fern Springs, Mississippi; the fourth child in a family of 12 siblings. T. P. was a member of The First Apostolic Church of Louisville, Mississippi. He loved southern gospel music and took his children to many gospel singings. T. P. loved to go to church; he enjoyed serving as a Sunday school teacher and he was a Gideon. He cherished every opportunity to witness to people about his Lord. He was an electrician and worked on televisions, radios, and satellites. T. P. was employed by Georgia Pacific and Manville Plywood. He loved to travel and was an avid fisherman.
