Bobby was born September 20, 1945, to Leroy and Mary Lois Dodd Buskirk in Lepanto, Arkansas. He was an avid gunsmith and deer hunter. He enjoyed utilizing his agriculture degree by farming his land in the Nanih Waiya Community. Bobby enjoyed playing his guitar and singing at various locations. He was also known for his “gift of gab.”
Bobby is survived by his three daughters: Audra Buckley of Ennis, Texas; Tracy Martin (Goober) of Louisville, Mississippi; and Brandi Hemphill (Justin) of Magee, Mississippi. One of his greatest joys was being “Pa” to his nine grandchildren: Cara Murphy, Andrew Buskirk, Chelsie Parker (Toby), Candi Carter, Joshua Watkins (Mikayla), Cati Grabher (Josh), Jamie Snow (Austin), Dalton Carter, and Caylee Carter; as well as his eight great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brother, Jim Buskirk. Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Buskirk; and his parents.
