Bobby was born July 22, 1932, in Louisville, the son of Robert Lee and Felcia Mae Wylie White. He was a member of Betheden Lutheran Church.
Following high school, Bobby enlisted into the United States Army, serving two years in the Korean War. While stationed in New Orleans, he met the love of his life, Cynthia Bolin, and they wed April 1955. After settling in Louisville, he began a long career and eventually retired from Taylor Machine Works. After retirement, they moved to Pickensville, Alabama, spending many years fishing on the river and traveling enjoying Bluegrass Festivals with friends. He had a love of building furniture and working with his hands.
Mr. White is survived by his daughter, Melissa Bolin Thompson and husband, Sam, of Brooksville, Mississippi; and granddaughter, Adriane Thompson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He is also survived by loving cousins Billy Frank Whites (Maryann) of Missouri; Naneine Keene of Louisville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Cynthia White; parents Robert and Felcia Mae White; sister Kathleen Chancellor; and brother Leon White.
