Dennis was born November 22, 1958, to James Dempsey and Jackie Dempsey Atkinson in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He worked for Taylor Machine Works and most recently, he was a department manager at Lowe’s in Starkville, Mississippi. Dennis enjoyed wood working and was a ham radio enthusiast.
Dennis is survived by his three children: Chris Dempsey, Matthew “Demp” Dempsey, and Madison Dempsey all of Louisville. He also leaves behind two brothers: Lamar (Mylinda) Dempsey and Randy Dempsey; and a sister, Renee Edwards. Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Susan White Dempsey; his parents; and his sister, Marsha James.
Memorial contributions in honor of Dennis may be given to Nowell-Massey Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
