Josie Marie Myers

Miss Josie Marie Myers, 78, died Friday, September 16, 2016, at her sister’s home in the Nanih Waiya community. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 P.M. on Monday, September 19th, at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Myers was born February 14, 1938, in Winston County, MS. She was a retired legal secretary and lived for many years in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Macy Bell and James Merlin Myers; and two brothers, James Harold Myers and Jessie Wayne Myers.

She is survived by two sisters, Beverly Holdiness and Carolyn Burgman, both of Louisville.
