Velmer Lee Pollard, 73, passed on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Choctaw County Nursing Home, Ackerman, Mississippi. Funeral Service will be Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 2 p.m., from the Big Jerusalem M. B. Church, Ackerman, Mississippi. Visitation will be Saturday, from 2 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Miss Pollard, will be placed in the Church on Sunday, one hour before service time. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.
