Jerry Lee Landrum

Jerry Lee Landrum, 67, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2016, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Flat Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Landrum was born March 12, 1948, to Leonard Clayton and Mary Maurine Landrum. He was a steel worker and of the Baptist faith. He answered the call of his country by serving four years in the United States Navy.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara Lull Landrum, of Louisville; his daughter, Dixi Kohrs, of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sons, Raymond Lee Landrum and J. R. Sloan, both of Louisville. Jerry is also survived by two grandsons: Allen James Landrum and Chance Kohrs; his brother, Terry Lee Landrum; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters: Alice Lavon Crowley Patsy Lee Cooper.

Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Daniels, Bobby Kearan, Danny Keene, Scott Kohrs, Josh McClellan and J. R. Sloan. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
