Mrs. Claudell Hughes Weaver, 75 died, Tuesday, December 9, 2014, surrounded by loved ones at her home. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 397. Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Claudell was born May 25, 1939 in Louisville, MS, the daughter of Betsy Ann Eichelberger and Tommie Neval Harris. She graduated from Louisville Negro High School in May 1957, and moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Education. She returned to Louisville in 1982, built a home, earned her Masters Degree at Mississippi State and was the Louisville Special Education Supervisor/Exceptional Education Teacher upon retirement from education for over 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Carmen E. Cole and son in law Angelo Crawford of Fredericksburg, VA, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald Weaver, son Charles E. Clifton and daughter Charlotte Renee Jones.
