Levi Glen Matzek, infant son of Jeremy and Carmen Phillips Matzek, passed away on June 11, 2014, at the Oktibbeha County Regional Medical Center in Starkville, Mississippi. A private graveside service and interment will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville, Mississippi, with Dr. Mike Smith officiating. Levi is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Carmen Phillips Matzek; his sister, Lana Matzek; and his grandparents, Lori and Keith Matzek; and Dianne Phillips, all of Louisville. He is also survived by his great-grandparents, Billy “Rabbit” and Sue Ward, also of Louisville; Mylo and June Matzek of Peyton, Colorado; Shirley Sharpe of Noxapater, Mississippi; and Frances Phillips of Morton, Mississippi; as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Levi was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glen Phillips; and his great-grandparents, Lois Ward; and Dewey and Anne Flanagan.
