Mrs. Barbara R. Fulcher, wife of the late Max O. Fulcher, 78, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the Winston Medical Center Hospital in Louisville, Mississippi.
Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Sunday, December 22, 2013, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady Crowell officiating. Interment will follow in Ellison Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulcher was born January 26, 1935, to Oakley Giffin Romedy and Victor Romedy. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.
Barbara is survived by four daughters: Sherry Burton of Louisville; Shelia Burton of McCool, Mississippi; Gena Stevenson of Madison, Mississippi; and Sylvia Reed and husband, Larry, of Louisville; and by two sons, Kenny Stevenson and wife, Glenda; and Stevie Stevenson and wife, Leslie, all of McCool. She is also survived by her sister, Maxine McCullough of Weir, Mississippi; her brother, Charles Romedy and wife, Ann, of Louisville; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fulcher was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Jean Vowell; her son-in-law, Douglas Burton; and her brother, Kendall Romedy.
Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Brock, Forrest Romedy, Tim Vowell, Michael Burton, Bumper Hemphill, and Floyd Morgan.
