Robbie Lovorn, 58, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Sunday, December 8, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Becky Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Robbie was born November 23, 1955, to Dorothy Smyth Lovorn and Robert E. Lovorn, Sr. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and he was a business owner.
Mr. Lovorn is survived by his mother, Dorothy Dan Lovorn of Louisville; his sister, Emily McIlwain and husband, Ray of Collinsville, Mississippi; and his brother, John Lovorn and wife, Jacqueline, of Flowood, Mississippi. Robbie is also survived by his daughters, Anna Claire Sanford and Melissa Grace Anderson both of Decatur, Mississippi; and he has two grandchildren: William Collier Sanford and Perry Allyn Sanford. He was preceded in death by his father.
Serving as pallbearers are Joey Partridge, Allan Lovorn, Daniel Lovorn, Dalton McIlwain, Randy Vowell, and Buddy Gregory. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Curtis Balius. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Friends of Nanih Waiya Park.
