Myrtle Mayo Triplett

Myrtle Mayo Triplett, 94, died Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, from 1 p.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 2 p.m.
in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Bowie officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Triplett was born on December 1, 1918, to Joe and Ola Childs Mayo. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville; she was a homemaker and a talented seamstress.

She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis Gronewold of Louisville, and Sandra Smith and husband, Ronald, of Peachtree City, Georgia; and her son, Bobby Triplett and wife, Glynda, also of Louisville. She is also survived by 5 grandsons: Jayson Triplett, Michael Gronewold, Shane Smith and wife, Holly, Scott Gronewold, and Matthew Smith and wife, Carolyn; and three great-grandsons: Noah Smith, Samuel Smith, and Jonathan Smith. Mrs. Triplett is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert Harrison Triplett; her parents; her brothers: Vernon Mayo, Henry Mayo, and Hubert Mayo; and her sister, Nora Bagwell.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jayson Triplett, Shane Smith, Scott Gronewold, Matthew Smith, Grady Jackson, and Bill Bagwell. Michael Gronewold will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
