Mrs. Dorothy Hazelwood, 85, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Neshoba General Nursing Home in Philadelphia, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 14th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Vowell officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10 AM until service time at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, AR.
Mrs. Hazelwood was born February 29, 1928, in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas. She was a retired supervisor with Angelica Uniform Corp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Hazelwood; and her parents, Agnes and George Deutsch.
Mrs. Hazelwood is survived by a son, Charles (Sheri) Hazelwood of Philadelphia, MS; a daughter, Dorothy Haberle of Philadelphia, MS; a sister, Barbara Evans of Ardmore, OK; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
