Travis F. Moore

Mr. Travis F. Moore, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walter Simmons officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Moore was born December 6, 1941. He was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church in Louisville. Mr. Moore retired as a welder from Gulf States Metal in Starkville, Missisippi. He answered the call of his country by serving two tours of duty (1965 to 1969) in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Moore is survived by two daughters, Gloria Hartness of Clearview, Florida; and Lisa Sprayberry and husband, Kevin, of Ethel, Mississippi; three sons, Alan Hartness and wife, Kitty, of Franklinton, Louisiana; Tony Hartness of Oak Harbor, Washington; and Ricky Hartness and wife, Maria, of Louisville, Missisisppi; and his sister, Mildred Dean Moore, also of Louisville. He has four grandchildren: Bailey Hartness, Nan Hartness, Jonathan Sprayberry, and Hailey Sprayberry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Joyce Mills Moore; and his parents, Fletcher and Ina Mae Ray Moore.
