Mrs. Hazel Young Round, 89, died Sunday, July 10th, 2011, at her home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 12th, at Noxapater Baptist Church, with Rev. Trent Bilbo officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Monday at Porter Funeral Home, and at the church on Tuesday from 10: A.M. until service time.
Mrs. Round was born November 25, 1921, in Winston County. She was a graduate of Noxapater High School, and was a longtime bookkeeper for Louisville Ford Motor Company. She was a member of Noxapater Baptist church.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Round of Louisville; two sons, Charles L. (Gayle) Young of Meridian, MS, and Randy (Carol) Young of Dallas, TX; a step-son, Jimmy Round of Jackson, MS; a sister, Eva Burt of Noxapater; a brother, George Morris of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Pallbearers are Bryan Young, Ryan Young, Chase Young, Tim Burt, Ken Morris, and Jimmy Round.
