Mrs. Deanie Stewart, 61, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, on Monday, March 14, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Murphy Creek Baptist Church with burial following in Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terrell Stringer and Rev. Walter Simmons officiating. Mrs. Stewart was born on November 10, 1949, to George and Minnie Mae Walker Foster. She worked in the Purchasing Department at Winston Medical Center and was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Stewart is survived by her husband, Bobby Stewart of Louisville; one son, Tim Stewart and wife, Kathy, of Jackson, Mississippi; three grandchildren: Peyton, Emily Katherine and Kendall Stewart all of Jackson; two sisters: Debbie Holdiness and Pam Robinson both of Louisville; four brothers: Gene Foster, Louisville; Larry Foster, Appomattox, Virginia; Dale Foster, Noxapater, Mississippi, and Jerry Foster, Madison, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Minnie Mae Walker Foster and grandparents, Davis and Annie Walker.
Pallbearers will be Stan Goodin, Deric Stewart, Malcolm Williamson, William Ball, Trey Woodruff, and Rusty Foster. Memorials may be made to Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1637 Boon Road, Louisville, MS 39339 or to Baptist Children’s Village.
