Mrs. Melba Jean Hemphill, 60, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Friday, February 11, 2011, from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2011, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Sardis Cemetery with Rev. Charles Rook officiating. Mrs. Hemphill was born on June 21, 1950, and she was a believer in Christ.
Mrs. Hemphill is survived by her daughter, Jody Lynn Andrew; her mother, Katherine Hemphill; and one sister, Sandra Clark all of Louisville, Mississippi; and three grandchildren: Jessica Lynn Edwards, Evan Ezekiel Edwards, and Jessie Etheridge. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Burks Manning.
