Clyde T. Stanley, 88, passed away at his home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Dempsey officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow the service in New Hope Cemetery.
Clyde was born May 31, 1937, to Plummer and Stella Thomas Stanley. He was a member of Crystal Ridge Baptist Church. Clyde retired from Taylor Machine Works where he was a mechanic and welder. He enjoyed being outdoors; he especially enjoyed working in his garden and cutting grass.
Clyde is survived by his wife, Virginia Stanley; and four brothers: Julius “Bill” Stanley, Bobby (Edna Mae) Stanley, Jerry (Frances) Stanley, and Archie Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Florene Parker, Geneva Stevenson, and Jane White; and his brother, Larry Stanley.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Stevenson, Braden Stevenson, Lee Brown, Scott Barnhill, Johnny Edwards, and Berlin Roberson.
