Charles Ervin Eiland

 Charles Ervin Eiland, 98, of Louisville, Mississippi, passed on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at his home.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11 a.m., from Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 5559 Crystal Ridge Road, Louisville, MS 39339.  Visitation will be Friday from 4 until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.  Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Charles was born January 31, 1928 to the parents of Lincoln McKinley Eiland and Eula Lee Lampkin Eiland in Winston County Mississippi.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Eula Eiland and Lincoln Eiland; wife, Walterine Eiland; two sons, Charles Russell and Rodney Eiland; three grandsons, Darnell, Robert and Russell; siblings, Alvin, Shelby, Mavis Jean and Lois.

Charles is survived by his children, Willie McQueen, Cleveland, OH, Donald Ray Eiland, Sr., of Louisville, MS,  Michael Eiland, Sr., (Melva) of Hanover, MD, Linda and Phyllis Eiland both of Louisville, MS, Carol Sims (Dwight) of Bartow, FL., Brenda and Lora Eiland both of Saginaw, MI. and Francine Eiland  of Louisville, MS; a granddaughter he raised as his bonus child, Manakia Eiland of Louisville, MS; siblings, Earnestine Richey of Peoria, IL, Frances Eiland Carr of Columbus, MS  and Dorothy Eiland of Byram, MS; 35 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
