Mr. Howard, 64, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his residence in Plattsburg, where he lived most of his life. He retired as a lineman with Southern Electric. He enjoyed fishing, gardening & cooking for the family. Mr. Howard was a member of New Zion Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Howard & Ruby Irene Jones Howard; sister, Peggy Ann Smith.
Survivors are his daughter, Christy Barrett (Devon) of Noxapater; son, Jessie J. HowardJr. (Tiffany) of Plattsburg; sisters, Ann Griffith of Plattsburg, Sammy Joyce Cobb of Noxapater & Addy Jean Smith of Plattsburg; (4) grandchildren, Tristan Howard, Candace Barrett, Isaac Barrett & Haylie Barrett; several nieces & nephews. Pallbearers are Dewayne Howard, Wiley Collins, Brad Collins, Hayden Smith, William Paul Smith Jr., Isaac Goforth, Scottie Smith & Keith Ming.
