Mrs. Elizabeth Ann McNeel Willis, 80, of Noxapater, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013, from 5 p.m.
until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trent Bilbo officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater.
Mrs. Willis was born on May 24, 1933, to Victor and Beryl Suttle McNeel. She was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church and she was a retired nurse.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Willis Rhaly and husband, Barry, of Lauderdale, Mississippi; and by her sister, Doris McNeel Hamilton and husband, Jimmie, of Louisville. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Katherine Rhaly, Ashley, Rhaly, and Andrew Rhaly. Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Andrew Willis; her parents; four sisters: Helen McNeel Chappell, Gondine McNeel Kittrell, Mary NcNeel Varner, and Gaynell Chappell; and by two brothers, Billy and Joe McNeel.
Pallbearers will be Jerome Kittrell, Billy Gene McNeel, William Kirk McNeel, Phil Chappell, Buddy Chappell, and Mack Parkes. Memorials may be given to Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund, c/o Noxapater Baptist Church, P.O. Box 251, Noxapater, MS 39346. Arrangements are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
