Elise Fulgham


Mrs. Elsie Fulgham, 67, passed away on December 23, 2012, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 27, 2012, with Rev. Justin Wilcher officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulgham was born on June 25, 1945, to James B. and Ina Mae Chamblee Jackson. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and she enjoyed volunteering through the Hospital Auxiliary in the Gift Shop at Winston Medical Center. She worked at Community Counseling Services in Program Assistance.

She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Cornett of Louisville, Mississippi, and Misty Thompson and husband, Brian, of Novi, Michigan; her son, Tommy Fulgham and wife, Tammy; her mother, Ina Mae Jackson all of Louisville; and two brothers, Jimmy Jackson and wife, Helen Marie, also of Louisville; and Jeff Jackson and wife, Wanda, of Winfield, Alabama. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Katy and Ben Thompson, Tyler Burnham, and Trent Fulgham; as well as, three nephews, one niece; five great-nieces; and one great-nephew. Mrs. Fulgham was preceded in death by her father, James B. Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Courtney Fondren, Scott Jackson, Gregg Jackson, Rusty Foster, Tim Luke, and Joey Eubanks. The family requests that memorials be given to The Melanoma Research Foundation, P. O. Box 759329, Baltimore, MD 21275-9329.
