Imogene T. James passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the Choctaw County Nursing Center, in Ackerman, MS. She was born August 22, 1928, in Lafayette County, MS, to Jerry Columbus and Mabel(Rice) Tucker. Mrs. James was 92. She was a retired factory employee.
A private family service will be held at Coleman Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Danny Irvin officiating. Burial will follow at North Oxford Baptist Cemetery in Oxford, MS.
Mrs. James is survived by 1 daughter, Glennis(Jasper) Wood of Ackerman, MS, 1 son, Danny(Janet) James of Ackerman, MS, 1 brother, Ron(Jan) Tucker of Hoover, AL, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. James is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel C. James, her parents, 1 brother, and 2 grandchildren.
