Mr. Palmer was born August 8, 1962, in Missouri. He was a graduate of Nanih Waiya High School, and was a mental health specialist at Diamond Grove in Louisville. He was a member of Crystal Ridge Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, C. V. Palmer.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Konrick Palmer; a daughter, Starlett Pettie of Ackerman; a son, Joshua David Palmer of Louisville; his mother, Carolyn Miller Palmer of Louisville; a sister, Patricia Kemp of Louisville; a brother, Clyde Palmer of Lousville; two grandchildren, Ian Joseph Pettie and Christian David Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Trea Gordon, Tyler Gordon, Chris Hemphill, Doug Rogers, Bart Chancellor, and Jason Pettie.
