Anna was born May 21, 1950, to Virgil Lee and Kate Metts Roberson of Winston County, Mississippi. She was a 1968 graduate of Louisville High School. She grew up as a member of South Louisville Baptist Church but later moved her membership to Evergreen Baptist Church. Anna enjoyed her church and the fellowship with her friends at church. She also loved being around her family and friends. She worked at local nursing homes and Spartus Corporation.
Anna is survived by several cousins: Marjorie Simpson and Peggy Ann Livingston both of Macon, Mississippi; Brenda Felters of Denham Springs, Louisiana; and Scott Roberson of Jackson, Mississippi. Anna is preceded in death by her husband Michael Wayne Kitchens, and her parents.
