Marjorie was born March 17, 1931, to Burgess Lee and Lovie Sharp Clark. On November 4, 1951 she married her sweetheart, Ester Taylor of Louisville. She became a devoted mother to three lovely girls, Susan, Debra and Patti.

Family was everything to Marjorie. One of her greatest joys was being “Mammaw” to her six grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crosswords, cooking and working in her garden. Whenever she wasn’t gardening, she was spending time on her porch visiting with neighbors and friends while doting on her beloved dog Gracie. She was a member of Poplar Flat Baptist Church. As a devout Christian, Marjorie is now resting peacefully with her savior.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Ester Taylor of Louisville; her daughters, Patti Rushton and husband, Ronnie of Brandon, Mississippi and Debra Coward and husband, Dell of Louisville. Her six grandchildren: Trey Jordan and wife, Andrea, Christy Jacobson, Dawn Dyer and husband, Heath, Brandy Stevenson, Lauren Hill, and Carlee Hill; also eight great-grandchildren: Owen Jordan, Ethan Jacobson, Michael Dyer and wife, Emily, Nick Dyer, Trace Dyer, Canon Dyer, Josiah Stevenson and Zoe Kate Usry. Marjorie also leaves behind one sister, Mary Kennedy and husband, Franklin also of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Jean Russell and Nancy Clark; and her daughter, Susan Jordan.

Serving as pallbearers are Heath Dyer, Trace Dyer, Robert Higginbotham, Steve Kennedy, Andy Kennedy, Rick Nix, Kelvin Taylor, and Ronnie Taylor.
