Smokey was born November 15, 1953, to Charles Andrew and Mildred Maxine Bell Sneed in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a member of Murphy Creek Baptist Church. Smokey also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins of the Bell, Sneed, Williams, and Rogers’s families.
