Wesley W. Garrard

Mr. Wesley W. Garrard, 91, died Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 8th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Mayo officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 AM until service time. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home of Louisville is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Garrard was born October 1, 1923, in Noxapater, MS. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He retired after 31 years as a welder at Taylor Machine Works. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Hutton Garrard; and a son, Wesley Allen Garrard.

He is survived by two daughters, Patsy (Joe) Foster of Louisville, MS; and Pam (Danny) Kemp of Starkville, MS; two brothers, Willis Garrard of Vicksburg, MS, and Alvin Garrard of Carthage, MS; three grandchildren, Ginger (Josh) Ward, Angie (Taylor) Banks, and Daniel (Ana) Kemp; and three great grandchildren, Chandler Foster, Lilly Grace Kemp and Luke Kemp.
