Charles "Tom" McCullough

Mr. McCullough, 78, of Philadelphia, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home.

He was a native and longtime resident of Philadelphia, MS.  He attended East Central Community College where he played football and was named All-American.  Later he was inducted into East Central Athletic Hall of Fame.  He was retired from Merchants Truck Lines as a terminal manager.  Mr. McCullough, a self-employed businessman, was owner/operator of Tom’s Fireworks and Williamsville Flea Market.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.  Mr. McCullough was active in the Assembly of God Church. He was an avid RV and camping enthusiast.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Stephanie Harris of Philadelphia and her children, Tyler Salter, Reagan Harris and Brayden Harris; grandson, Dewayne Cascio of Hernando; sister, Mary Alice Watkins of Michigan; brother-in-law, Henry B. “Bubba” Hudspeth of Louisville and a number of nieces, nephews and their families.

Mr. McCullough was preceded in death by his wife, Faye McCullough in 2014; daughter, Debra Cascio; parents, Rupert and Gusta McCullough; sister, Martha Ball and brother, James McCullough. 

Pallbearers will be Carson Waltman, Mack Eubanks, Cully Hudspeth, Hubert Killen, Richard Fulmer, Jay Arender, Charles Dennison and Jimmy Rea.
