Mrs. Annette Marie Avara Shotts, 85, died Monday, August 25, 2014, at her son’s home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 27th, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Rob Paul officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home.Mrs. Shotts was born August 11, 1929, in Louisville, MS. She was a homemaker and retired bookkeeper for Eastside Motors. She was a past president of Louisville Junior Auxiliary and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Franklin Shotts; and her parents, Annie and W.C. Avara.
She is survived by two sons, Charles (Rhonda) Shotts, and Franklin (Sue) Shotts; three grandchildren, Jamie (Laura) Shotts, Ryan Shotts, and Jay Shotts; and one great grandchild, Jacey Shotts, all of Louisville, MS.
