Jim Bouchillon

Mr. Jim Bouchillon, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at his residence inLouisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville,Mississippi, on Monday, August 19, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Davis officiating. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.Mr. Bouchillon was born on December 16, 1948, to Jimmie and Joyce Goodin Bouchillon. He was retired from AT&T and he was of the Baptist faith. Jim was a member of the local Army National Guard unit. He faithfully served his country for 21 years attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant for which he was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, the Army Forces Reserve Medal, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon (3) and a Sharpshooter Badge (Pistol, Rifle). He was actively deployed during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Jim is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy M. Bouchillon of Louisville; and his daughters, Katie Bouchillon of Louisville and Maria “Rea” Burton (Brock) of Ackerman, Mississippi. He is also survived by his sisters, Tara Puckett (Ronnie) of Louisville and Angie Webb (Darrin) of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; and by two brothers, Mike Bouchillon (Janie) and Randy Bouchillon (Jane) all of Louisville. Mr. Bouchillon is also survived by his grandson, Gavin M. Burton. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Richard Nance, Jonathan Burt, Chris Brannon, Joey Lowrey, Tommy Cagle and Jeff Rogers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Joe Lowrey, William “Bubby” Rogers, Paul Davis, and Johnny Johnson. Memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
