Mrs. Elsie Lurline Cole Tabor, 91, died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at the Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 3rd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Billy Bowie and Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tabor was born March 19, 1921, in Winston County, MS. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, and along with her husband, was co-owner of several service stations and convenience stores in Louisville. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh N. Tabor; a brother, Bill Cole; and her parents, Mary Avery and Thomas D. Cole.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy (Gail) Tabor of Louisville; two grandchildren, Brad (Heather) Tabor and Kristi Dunaway; five great grandchildren, Kristen Collum, Alexis Tabor, Ashlyn Tabor, Devin Tabor, and Maddox Tabor; and two great great grandchildren, Mikael and Katelyn Collum.
