Mrs. Edna Dacus, 78, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian,Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. onThursday, June 21, 2012, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery in Macon, Mississippi.
Mrs. Dacus was born on February 27, 1934. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and she was a retired caregiver.
Mrs. Dacus is survived by three sisters: Faye Edwards of Meridian, Mississippi; Ruth Erhardt of Sacramento, California; and Agnes Sciple of Selma, Tennessee. She is also survived by her grandson, Rickey Peters, Jr.; as well as two granddaughters, Lana Rolands and Keisha Purcell. She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. and Jessie Mae Coker Warren; her son, Rickey Peters; and her daughter, Beverly Peters.
